CS76 - Artificial Climbing Structure Level 2

Pre-requisites:   Climb on Safely, current BSA registration, current YPT, CS75
  This is an advanced training course that provides the information and certification necessary to supervise climbing events on the tower at Camp Durant. Emphasis will be placed on event planning, staffing, facilitation, risk management and emergency response.  

Cope and Climbing Level 1 facilitator/instructor training within the past 12 months and proof of participation as staff at an event within a year of your original certification. Must have Red Cross First Aid (prefer Wilderness First Aid).  Registered BSA adults 21+ in good physical shape and not afraid of heights will be accepted. Completion of CS75 and CS76 is equivalent to National Camp School Training, condensed to two weekend sessions and two additional 1 day event qualification sessions. Certification is valid for 3 years. Class size is limited to (16) participants. 

Age requirement:  minimum age 21
Registration Fee: $60.00 -  Includes Friday Cracker Barrel, Saturday breakfast / lunch / dinner and Sunday breakfast/lunch, instruction materials and staff t-shirt.
Housing: Cabins are included in the registration fee.  If you would prefer to tent camp, let us know in advance and we can reduce your registration fee by $10.00
Registration Deadline: Registration will close one week prior to this course.
